Pendleton School District will be applying pesticides on the school district properties March 15 – October 31, 2022 between the hours of 6:00 am – 2:30 pm, weather dependent. See the list of pesticides on the Facilities Page.

After compiling the results of the recent Superintendent Survey and holding focus group sessions in January, the Pendleton School Board and the superintendent search company are moving on to next steps in the process.

Julie Muller (3rd year on Board) said she likes learning about PSD schools and the students who attend, as well as getting to know the staff and the important work they do.
“What I hope to contribute to the school district is a voice for parents. I have two school-aged children, and I see the importance of parent input and involvement.”

Preston Eagleheart, Position 4
Preston Eagleheart (1st year on Board) enjoys collaborating with the board, faculty, and community on hot topics and issues concerning district students, parents, and staff.
“I bring local knowledge of the community; growing up in Pendleton most of my lifetime has given me roots to the community, and I wish to continue to build upon those relationships.”

Beth Harrison, Position 1
Beth Harrison (six months on Board) loves seeing the creativity, commitment, and compassion of district staff, teachers, and building administrators. Beth said even though student needs are more complex than ever, there are so many good things happening.
“As a member of our board, I hope to contribute to a rational, respectful, cooperative spirit and to advocate for the children and families in our district.”

Mason Murphy (3rd year on Board) enjoys all the amazing information presented by passionate district staff and leaders and the opportunity to serve every student through setting priorities and policy.
“Originally, I wanted to push the district to implement more online and distance learning options for homeschooled children and to prepare students for an increasingly digital workforce. Our COVID response made this seemingly impossible task happen overnight — there truly are silver linings to negative and unfortunate circumstances.”
