Welcome to McKay Creek Elementary – Home of the Mustangs

Welcome to McKay Elementary where “It Feels Like Home.”  McKay is one of the Pendleton School District’s best kept secrets.  Our small, country school nestled near the McKay Creek is a great place for students to grow and learn.

Our staff focus is to build life-long relationships with our students and provide for an engaging and nurturing learning environment.  We promote high expectations for active learning while increasing emotional awareness, self-management, and leadership in all of our students.  The staff at McKay is dedicated to meeting students where they are and identifying and addressing the learning needs of all students through enrichment and student-specific interventions.

McKay has a very active parent club and you are encouraged to participate in meetings and help with the  planning of activities that bring a community feel to our school family.  Here at McKay everyone is welcome and accepted.
