Superintendent Message – August 4, 2020 (6:20 pm)

Earlier today, I sent an update regarding the Pendleton School District’s Comprehensive Distance Learning plan. Let me reiterate, moving to distance learning was not a district decision, but rather the result of the statewide increase in COVID-19 documented cases and deaths. Literally, every district in the state of Oregon is faced with this determination.

However, the purpose of this update is to direct your attention to the document at the end of this message. It provides a brief overview of the options families have during Comprehensive Distance Learning. As part of this summary, there is an overview of the Pendleton Virtual Learning Academy (PVLA) for those looking for a full-time online experience.

Thank you for your continued patience and collaboration working with us to better serve your children.

Respectfully,
Chris Fritsch

Pendleton School District 2020-2021 Comprehensive Distance Learning and PLVA Plans Overview

Respetuosamente,
Chris Fritsch
